THE BOLD ONES – NEW CHAMPIONS OF MANUFACTURING

In a move to recognize the contribution of recently established manufacturing companies to the Jamaican economy, Continental Baking Company (National) has launched an affirmation programme dubbed "The Bold Ones - New Champions of Manufacturing".  

This programme comprises 11 small manufacturing companies, who will benefit from a sponsored marketing campaign that should increase their visibility and recognition and also raise their profile so that they too can benefit from their efforts. 

This initiative being spearheaded by chairman of National Baking Company, Gary 'Butch' Hendrickson, strives to motivate aspiring Jamaicans to consider the creation of their own enterprise as a viable career path and to promote manufacturing and production as a part of the solution to Jamaica's future economic growth. 

The finalists were selected from a field of 18 candidates drawn from a cross-section of industries. They were chosen after an extensive process that involved visiting each of the business and assessing them on the agreed criteria. There were four broad-based criteria for selection; companies that were seven years or younger, employed at least five people, were tax compliant and use indigenous resources. 


As a part of the Marketing Campaign, the 11 selected companies will benefit from:
